I agree, this show is not one of the shining hours of December '73.
The key word is "bonus" disc, though... I believe this was used as a bonus because the second set was not in circulation when the box set was released. (The same way the 5/12/77 SBD was used as a bonus - they know very well what we don't have.)
I could be wrong about that, but I remember hearing the Eyes for the first time around that time. And being very happy it had finally emerged, after years of only the first set being known...

They'd be crazy to use 12/6/73 as a bonus to anything. I'm not a "whole-show-only" guy, but I'd hope that show requires more than a one-disc 'highlights' compilation, if it's ever released!

When you put it that way it makes sense. That Eyes is definitely something spectacular and a must-listen for anyone. The Sugaree was pretty darn good as well. And LiA, you are right that 12/6 should not be just a bonus disc although I do feel it really takes off with the Row Jimmy.

Seconded! 12/6 is easily in my personal Top 5 of the year...

what Dick's Picks is the 12/4 show on? don't think i've ever heard/seen it...

Selections from 12/4/73 were on the "early buyer" bonus disc of the Winterland '73 box set.
